PROYECTO FINAL
PLASTICS
Plastic has been one of the most broadly used during the 20th Century. In fact, if we look around us we can easily find this material in common objects.
This unit is addressed to Tecnology students in 3rd ESO. It will include 6 class sessions and it will be taught at the beginning of the second term.
The specific objectives of the unit will be:
- Learning the knowledge and ability to manipulate the materials in a sefe way
- Learning what a aplastic is.
- Getting to know how to distinguish between a plastic and a polymer
- Getting to know how to classify plastics
- Getting to know the ways to obtain plastics
The class program will be as follows
First:
The teacher will give a brief introduction about plastics, their importance, obtention and recycling.
Then, students will read a text aloud (the teacher will correct pronuntiation mistakes, rhythm, etc)
Second:
We will dedicate this session to the obtention and formation of plastics, so we will watch the following video:
Molding is one of the many existing techniques. Perhaps, this is the most representative one to form plastics. Besides, the teacher will explain how we can obtain objects such as bottles, films, windows, etc
Third:
The third session will be dedicated to the recycling of plastics. First, students will watch the video
which is about recycling of plastics in particular. The teacher will make students aware of the necessity of separating plastics.
Fourth:
In this session, we will make a practical experience about how plastics are separated through density.
Fifth and sixth:
We will do exercises as those described on the didactic unit and the exam preparation.

Planificación
de la unidad didactica
Uno de las razones por la que elegí realizar este
curso, es que tenia ligeras nociones sobre lo que era la metodologia
AICLE y queria profundizar más en el conocimiento de esta
metodologia, la impresión es buena he aprendido lo que es la
metodologia AICLE y comienzo a saber como programar.
En
mi unidad didáctica en
primer lugar los alumnos leeran un texto sobre los plasticos de la
American Chemistry Council.
En
este texto los alumnos aprenderan las nociones básicas sobre los
plásticos, estructuras, clasificación, etc.
En
segundo lugar los alumnos veran el siguiente video donde aprenderar
como se moldean los plásticos mediante la tecnica de la inyección.
El
moldeo es una de las muchas tecnicas que existen quizás esta es la
mas representativa para la conformación de plásticos.
En
tercer lugar veuran un video sobre reciclaje.
El
reciclaje es importante porque se puede alargar la vida de los
plásticos y ademas concienciaremos a los alumnos en el medio
ambiente.
Una
vez realizado esto, los alumnos realizarán dos actividades.
En
estas actividades podremos comprovar si los alumnos han alcanzado los
objetivos.
En
mi opinión faltaria diseñar una actividad de laboratorio.
